The aim of this study is to assess the economic impacts of the voluntary adoption of Nutri-Score in the Estonian food sector, focusing on food producers and retailers. The analysis covers both direct costs (e.g., packaging changes and product reformulation) and indirect effects, including changes in demand, competition, and market structure. Particular attention is paid to impacts across firms of different sizes and business models. The methodology combines interviews, secondary data, and scenario analysis to evaluate effects under varying levels of adoption. The results provide evidence-based input for policymaking.
