BlueGreen's key outputs include Implementation and evaluation of innovative governance schemes in seven European regions, thereby promoting integration between institutional levels and across policy areas, involving citizens in decision-making processes, responding proactively to changing conditions, and developing e-governance tools.

The task of the UT team, consisting of researchers from the Marine Institute and a project manager from CASS, is to collaborate with project partners to develop an e-governance tool that enables the integration of science-based strategic planning with societal perspectives and values.

The BBG tool consists of two components: PlanWise4Blue Europe (an environmental data platform) and ePLANETe (a discussion platform), which together provide stakeholders with comprehensive geospatial and societal data, thereby supporting land-sea planning and strategic decision-making.
