ACE

The ACE project is a catalyst for impactful change by creating a peer-to-peer learning alliance as a means to empower university staff to transform their engagement into a more effective and strategic course of action. ACE will develop innovative and practical tools and design an agile and forward-thinking training to create a synergistic effect, fostering a culture of innovation, adaptability, and readiness to shape the future landscape of community engagement in European universities.

The key results of the project are:
  • Community Engagement Guide fostering a culture of engagement, collaboration, and social responsibility within the higher education sector
  • A dynamic alliance of more than 150 HE staffs, innovative digital platform and guide to initiate collaboration
  • A practical toolkit consisting of 1 pathway, 50 instruments & 50 best practices to develop effective engagement strategies
  • An empowerment program and training guide replicable for HEIs to build the capacity of their community-engaged staff
UT will assist partners in the development of the European University Community Engagement Guide by contributing to the strategic foresight analysis by conducting the Horizon Scanning as well as the Stakeholders Dialogues. UT will also co-lead the development of the ACE Toolkit as well as implementation of the Empowerment Training Program. On the horizontal level, UT will also lead the development and implementation of Valorization and Sustainability Strategies ensuring the greater positive impact of the project.
